WELLS

Gary E. Wells, 61, of London died Saturday, April 18, 2020 in his residence.

Born May 25, 1958 in Columbus; he was a son of Shelva Leon and Thelma Maxine (Pruitt) Wells.

Gary had started his working career for Ron Pruitt with Ohio Road and Paving, was a master mechanic for Engine Exchange and AAA and retired as a dump truck driver for Bowman Trucking.

He loved boating, fishing and riding his Harley.

Survivors include his wife Heather (Rafferty) Wells; son Gary Justin Wells and his children Alexis and Brianna Wells; daughter Jessie Wells and her children Adilynn and Wesley Truax; brother Jeff (Cathy) Wells; nieces and nephews Christy, Shawn, Heather, Michael, Shane and Haley; aunts and uncles Buford Pruitt, Lloyd (Bonnie) Pruitt, Rosemary Bateman, Diane (John) Ford, and Mary (Richard) Long; many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Pam Hawk and brother Anthony "Tony" Wells.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 5 PM Friday, April 24, 2020 in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Pastor Sue McClelland officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 PM until time of services.
