McINTIRE Frederick McIntire, 63, of South Charleston, died Saturday, April 7, 2018 in his residence. Born July 26, 1954 in Washington Court House; he was the son of Marion and Norma (Dodds) McIntire.Fred had retired from Yellow Freight and for the last 12 years, he had been involved in farming. He attended Journey of Faith Fellowship and had belonged to Local #413, Teamsters.Survivors include his wife of 44 years Joyce (Burton) McIntire; daughter Karrie McIntire, sons Kevin (Jennifer) McIntire and Keith "Hooch" McIntire; grandchildren Kayla, Madison, Nicholas, Braden and Kylie; sisters Trudy (Ted) Kiser, Peggy Travis, Regina McIntire and Abby Levering; several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Kelly McIntire, sister Marilyn Blankenship and father and mother in law Denver and Mona Burton.Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday in the Journey of Faith Fellowship Church, 163 N. Chillicothe St, South Charleston with Pastor Charles Wertz officiating. Interment follows in Greenlawn Cemetery, South Charleston.
