Obituary

BERRY Frederick S. Berry, 81, of London, died Sunday, February 11, 2018 in his residence. Born September 10, 1936 in Ashland, KY; he was a son of Garland and Frances (Walters) Berry.Fred had worked for 30 years for Westgate Electric and Plumbing in Columbus and had owned and operated Berry's Plumbing for 10 years. A US Army veteran, Fred was a member of the 82nd Airborne and special forces; he was also a member of Amvets Post #19, where he was a past commander, Madison Memorial Post #105, American Legion, the former VFW in London and a member of Aerie #950, FOE. Survivors include his wife Reva Jo (Legg) Berry; daughters Patricia (Bob Gussler) Congrove of Newark and Lisa (Jerry) Dodds of London; son Alan Garcia of London; grandchildren Ben Garcia, Adrianna McDaniels, Cameron Powell, Brittany Congrove, Taylor Congrove and Amy Jo (Justin) Bost; great-grandsons Levi Bost and Branden Bost; sisters in law Carol Berry of Johnston and Carol (Dale) Heine of MI; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Nadine Brown and brother Ted Berry. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St, London with Pastor Nick Heine officiating, Interment will follow in Somerford Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 AM-1 PM.
