POWELL Frank Eugene "Gene" Powell, Jr., 57, of London died Thursday, February 25, 2016 in Madison Health. Born February 24, 1959 in Columbus; he was a son of Frank E. and Nancy (Smith) Powell. A machinist with M.H. Eby in West Jefferson; Gene was also a member of the North American Falconry Association and Aerie #950, FOE. Survivors include his wife Rita S. (Hurley) Powell; son Sean (Megan) Powell of Fairborn, daughter Alexis Powell of Columbus, step son Adam Klontz of London and Jessica (Joseph) Reed of Huber Heights; grandchildren Maya Scout Owens, Garik and Melody Klontz and Lucas Reed; parents Frank and Nancy of London; siblings Marcy (Michael) Colley, Charles Powell (Jennifer Mobley) and Holly (Steve) Murry, several nieces and nephews, mother in law Bonnie Branch (Richard Armstrong), brother in law Tom (Cheryl) Hurley and his hawk Gary. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 PM until time of services.
