DEATON Floyd Deaton, 53, of London, died at 11:00PM Wednesday, August 21, 2013 in his residence. Born May 24, 1960 in Booneville, KY, he was a son of Albert and Bonnie (Marshall) Deaton. He was self employed as a carpet installer. Survivors are his wife, Robin Mathews Deaton; a daughter, Sara Deaton of London; son Levi (Holly) Mathews of London; a granddaughter, Emily Rose Mathews of London; a grandson, Sheldon Luke Mathews of London; a brother, Kenneth Deaton of Winchester, KY; two sisters, Kay Taylor and Margie Cooper, both of Booneville, KY; a brother in law, Donald "Duck" McIntosh of Booneville, KY; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary Lou McIntosh; and brothers Larry, George, and Dennis "Bud" Deaton. A memorial gathering to honor Floyd's life will be held from 1PM to 3PM Saturday at his residence in London.
