IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Florence "Flo"
Mae (Jordan) Kirk
November 24, 1942 – April 28, 2025
Florence "Flo" Mae Kirk, 82, of Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025, with her beloved family by her side. Born on November 24, 1942, Florence lived a full and colorful life rooted in deep love, simple joys, and unwavering devotion to her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William, in March of 2024—a loss she felt deeply. Flo tried so hard to live a life without him.
Florence and William shared a rare kind of love, the kind that lasts lifetimes. They lived for one another, and now, they are reunited once more.
Florence never worked a formal job, but no one could ever say she didn't live a full life. William made sure of that. She was a woman of strong will and easy laughter, known for her love of decaf coffee, cigarettes, and the thrill of a good Bingo game. If there was a yard sale sign, Florence was stopping—without fail. "Junkin'" was her passion, and she could always spot a treasure in what others might overlook.
She was also known for staying up into the early hours of the morning, binge-watching episodes of Naked and Afraid and Mountain Men with a mix of fascination and commentary only she could provide.
She was a fiercely proud mother to her sons, Michael (Mindy), Garey (Denise), and Andrew (Angela) and held a special place in her heart for her daughter, Lisa (Albert).
Her legacy continues through her seven grandchildren—Amanda, Katie, Nikki, Nona, Angelina, Anna, and Matthew—and her 14 great-grandchildren, who brought endless pride to her later years.
Florence will be remembered for her humor, her sharp wit, her love for the little things, and the deep love, as well as her opinion, she gave so freely to those around her. She was the kind of woman you don't forget—and wouldn't want to.
A private family service will be held to honor her memory. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you grab a cup of decaf, light a smoke if you're so inclined, and raise a toast to Flo at your next yard sale find.
A special thanks to the ladies at London Health and Rehab, Amanda Griffin with MedOne Healthcare Partners, and ViaQuest hospice for their love and overwhelming support to Flo in her final days.
The EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140, is honored to be serving the Kirk family during this difficult time. Condolences are encouraged to be shared online at www.eberlefisherfuneralhome.com.
