BOGGS On the morning of August 9, 2016, the Good Shepherd carried one of His precious lambs, Florence Louise Boggs, as she passed into life eternal. She was at her home in Lancaster, Ohio, surrounded by loved ones. A long-time London resident, Florence was born on August 18, 1932, near Rosedale, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents, William H. and Etta M. (Hurley) Fout; brothers Carl, Richard, David, Frank and Bill; sisters Mabel Francis and Easter McCarty; many close friends and loved ones; and, in 2007, her beloved husband of 56 years, Kenneth R. Boggs. Florence was part of the church family at Newport Church of Christ in Christian Union for more than 50 years. She worked as a bookkeeper at Madison Landmark in London, retiring after 28 years. Before that, she worked a little while with her sisters as a waitress at the State Restaurant, and graduated from Madison Rural High School in 1950. She was a fantastic cook, a truly wonderful mother and a devoted grandmother. She is survived by a daughter, Bobbie of Lancaster; grandchildren, Amie (Brent) Wohrer and Tyler Coy, both of Lancaster; five great-grandchildren, Vincent, Madeline, Etta, Lydia and Solomon, all of Lancaster; sisters Shirley Jones of West Jefferson and Elsie (Joe) Slagle of London; sister in law Agnes Fout of London, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; many good friends and dearest friend Mrs. Norma Stringfellow. A tribute to Florence and a celebration of God's goodness in her life will be held at 2 PM Monday, August 15, 2016 in the Newport Church of Christ in Christian Union with Pastor Justin Sterrett officiating.
