HARRIS

Ferrell Harris, Jr., 85, of London, died Tuesday, January 10, 2023, in Madison Health.

Born July 5, 1937, in Gilbert, WV, he was a son of Sarah (Mayhon) and Ferrell Harris, Sr.

A US Army veteran, Ferrell had retired from the former Purex/Dial Corporation in London as a foreman. He loved playing his guitar, but most of all he loved his family.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 50 years Frances (Stumbo) Harris; children Robin Tipton (Chuck Ackley), Joseph Wayne (Kim) Richey, Tena Marie Harris and Jerrell Ray (Amy) Harris; grandchildren Misty, Rusty, Staci, Sarah and Trea', Heather Nicole Richey, Taylor Mason Parker, Anna, Sam and Lilly Harris; numerous great grandchildren; brothers Clark (Dorothy) Harris and Arnold Harris, sister Gene Whiteside and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Fay (Clell) Kauffer, Irene Hatfield and Jeraldine Mullins.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Monday, January 16, 2023, in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Mr. Michael Casto officiating. Interment will follow in Paint Memorial Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-5 PM Sunday.
