Eulah Nadine Kirby, 85, of Dayton, died Saturday, September 3, 2022, in Ohio's Hospice of Dayton. Born November 9, 1936, in Williamsburg, Kentucky, she was a daughter of Josh and Nannie Caroline (Morton) Powers.

Nadine spent her career working in publishing as a proofreader. She was also a charter member of the Miami Shores Baptist Church in Moraine.

Nadine is survived by four children Stephen (Deborah) Kirby, Teresa Adkins, Christopher Dean Kirby, and Charles David Kirby; 8 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; brother-in-law Glen Fisher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles Kirby in 1994, brothers Luther, Herbert, Homer, Cecil, and Arthur Powers, sisters Lois Jean Fisher and Thelma Reeves.

A funeral service will be held on Monday September 12, 2022, at 12:00 PM in the Miami Shores Baptist Church, 4000 Vance Road Moraine, Ohio 45439, with Pastor Stephen Kirby officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Miami Valley Memory Gardens, 1639 East Lytle Five Points Road Centerville, Ohio 45458. Friends may call the church on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials in Nadine's name be made to the Miami Shores Baptist Church, 4000 Vance Road Moraine, Ohio 45439.
