Obituary

PRUITT Ethel Pruitt, 72, of London died Monday, May 6, 2013 in Mount Carmel Medical Center. Born September 11, 1940 in Newport; she was a daughter of Harry and Mary (Earles) Johnson. Ethel worked for Madison Plains Schools for approximately 30 years and loved playing euchre with her friends Sandy Darlington, Molly Wilson and Beulah Swyers. She had attended the Newport Church of Christ in Christian Union and enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds, the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Tennessee Lady Vols. She is survived by her daughters and sons in law Sharon and Sam Stires and Lisa and David Wiseman and son and daughter in law Daryl and Amanda Pruitt all of London; grandchildren Shawn and Amanda Stires, Chad and Sandra Stires, Rachel Stires, Courtney Pruitt, Dustin Pruitt, Macy Pruitt, Lindsey Wiseman and Aly Wiseman; great grandchildren Whitney Stires, Wesley Stires, Jasmine Daniels, Aaliyah Pruitt and Bailee Pruitt; sister Mary Lou Swartz of Washington Court House, several nieces and nephews and special friends Judy and Junior Venrick. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Reverend Sandi Cunningham officiating. Interment will follow in Paint Memorial Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday.
