SKEENS Eric L. Skeens, 52, of South Charleston died Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in his residence. Born November 26, 1965 in Gallipolis; he was a son of William and Sandra (Bishop) Skeens. Eric had worked the past 32 years for Columbia Gas. He loved golfing, little trucks, his dog Jerry Lee, but most of all his girls-who were his pride and joy. Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Tracy (Powers) Skeens; daughters Taylor L. Skeens (Zach McGraw) and Lexi Skeens; his mother Sandra, brother Bill (Kristin) Skeens, Jr and their children Matthew and Jenna Skeens, sister Teresa (Terry) Slone and their children Ashley (Vince) Banion and Terry Slone, Jr.; great niece Everly Banion and good friend Dan Hennigan. He was preceded in death by his father and best friend William E. "Bud" Skeens; mother and father in law Joyce and Billy Powers; grandparents Earl and Wilma Bishop and Clarence and Sylvia Skeens. A celebration of Eric's life will be held Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 2-4 PM at the Locust Hills Golf Course, South Charleston.
