Edward Wayne Smouse, 67, of London, died Wednesday, November 27, 2024, in Riverside Methodist Hospital after a valiant battle with heart disease.

Born January 26, 1957, in Springfield, Ohio, he was a son of James Ronald Smouse and Georgia Fern (Greene) Smouse.

Ed is survived by brother Mike Smouse; brother-in-law Richard Hurl; nieces and nephews Michelle Smith, Ashley (Randy) James, David Wahlenmaier, Scott Hurl, Todd (Dee) Hurl, Sean Hurl, Michael (Amber) Smouse Jr., and Ryan Barrett; a host of great-nieces and great-nephews.

Along with his parents, Ed is reunited in heaven with his siblings David Ronald Smouse, Gloria Hurl, and Joseph Allen Smouse, as well as niece Angela Marie (Smouse) Hines and nephew James Raymond Smouse.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140. A memorial service will then begin at 1:00 PM with Reverend Jim Blankenship officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Paint Memorial Cemetery.
