LEWIS Edward R. "Major" Lewis, 71, of Aurora, died Friday, October 3, 2014 at his daughter's home in London, Ohio. Born October 27, 1942 in Cleveland; he was a son of Edward W. and Rosetta A. (Locke) Lewis. A member of the Pioneer Memorial Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) in Solon, he had also served in the US Army Reserves. Ed had owned his own photography studio as well as being a glass worker and a professional clown. Survivors include his daughters Lisa Marie (Steven) Lewis-Jenkins of Raleigh, NC, Jennifer Anne Piccione of London and Beth Ellen (Shane) Stafford of Charlottesville, VA; grandchildren Tony, Sam, Grace, Sarah, Micah, Jonah and Maxwell. He was preceded in death by his wife Claudia in 2004 and his brother Gary L. Lewis. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, October 11, 2014 in the Pioneer Memorial Presbyterian Church, 35100 Solon Rd. Cleveland with Reverend Mike Anderson officiating.
