FLANAGAN

Edward "Ed" Flanagan, 69, of London, died Thursday, May 8, 2025, in his residence, with his wife by his side.

Born August 6, 1955, in Columbus, he was the son of Marvin W. and Margaret Ann (Wakeman) Flanagan.

A longtime member of Madison County Vineyard, Ed loved softball, golf, deer hunting, fishing, but above all he deeply loved his family.

He will always be remembered as a man of strength, wisdom, courage, humor, and having a smile on his face even in the toughest of times. Ed will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 49 years Teresa (Charles) Flanagan; son Jeremy Edward (Lya) Flanagan and their children Callum Evan and Kylie Ann, daughter Heather (Matt) Olds and their children Sonnie Bee and Sage Ellis; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; aunt Betty Lou Allen, brothers in laws, sisters in laws, and several cousins.

Preceding Ed in death were his parents, sisters Jean Ann Shreve and Beth Shingler; grandparents Robert and Marietta Wakeman and Edward and Delilah Flanagan.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Monday, May 12, 2025, in the Madison County Vineyard, 106 Olive Street, London, with Pastor Denny Tatman officiating. Interment will follow in Paint Memorial Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the church from 11 AM until the time of services Monday.
