SMITH

Donald Roger Smith, 91, of London, died Saturday, May 13, 2023, in the Chillicothe Veteran's Home.

Born December 27, 1931, in Galloway; he was a son of Wallace and Sennith (Holt) Smith.

A United States Army veteran of the Korean War, Don was a long-time farmer in Madison County. He also did screen room construction in Bonita Springs, Florida, where he and Dorothy spent their winters and was a member of Chandler Lodge #138, F & AM.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years Dorothy (Pierce) Smith; daughters Laura (Douglas) Crager and Lisa Smith; grandchildren Kate (Clark) Tobin, Vincent Maniscalco, Joseph Maniscalco and Graciela Maniscalco; great grandchildren Eliah and Elisha Tobin; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers John Smith and Tim Smith.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, May 18, 2023, in Range Township Cemetery, State Route 323, Sedalia, Ohio 43151, with Pastor Jim Blankenship officiating. Visitation will not be observed.
