GORDON Donald Lee "Scooter" Gordon, 70, of London died Thursday, April 20, 2017 in West Jefferson. Born December 20, 1946 in Windber, PA; he was a son of Jack and Ivy (Younkins) Gordon. Don had worked many years for Don Casto doing construction, after which he worked at Madison Plains Schools. Also an ordained minister, Don had been very active in prison ministry for several years and had been a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association. Survivors include his wife of 48 years Marlene (Apthorp) Gordon; daughters Shannon Renee (Pat) McNamara, Angela Dawn Eden and Christina Rochelle (Jamie) Kraft; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brother Robert Eugene (Sandy) Gordon; sisters Gloria Diane (Blaine) Stull, Patricia Jean Hockenberry and LuAnn Martin, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Jamie Lynette Gordon, granddaughter Rosemary Marie Gordon and brother Jack Elroy Gordon. A memorial service will be held at 4:30 PM Thursday, April 27, 2017 in the International Church of Christ Conference Center, 2343 US Highway 42 SW, London.
