ARTIS Donald E. Artis, 69 of London, Ohio, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017. He was born September 26, 1947 and was preceded in death by his parents Wilbur and Ruth Artis, brother Lowell Artis and a grandson William Bryan Knisley. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Patty Artis, daughter Kim and Ken Lambert, sons Tony and Cyndi Artis and Kyle and Donna Artis; grandkids Joseph Knisley, Lance Knisley, Tyler Artis, Cody Artis and Savannah Artis; step grandchildren Jake, Danielle, Seth and Maleah Gillispie; great grandkids Owen, Audrey, Mae, June and Laney; sister in law Marcella Parker and niece Michelle Robbins. Spending time with the grandkids and great grandbabies was the highlight of Don's day, along with his little fur legged Sadie. Don was a member of the New Life Fellowship Church, was US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and had been an avid Square Dance Caller. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Pastor Neal Hagerman officiating. Interment will follow in the Milford Center Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 AM until time of service Wednesday.
