COX Dixie L. Cox, 80, of Springfield, died Sunday, January 28, 2018 in Heartland of Springfield. Born July 4, 1937 in London; she was a daughter of Harold Raymond and Helen Maire (Smouse) Weese. Survivors include her husband of 46 years Jack L. Cox; children Robin (Joe) Mollett of Springfield, James "Jimmy" Dowler of Springfield, Betty Faye (John) Rowlett of TX, April Wilson and Jack L. (Dawn) Cox, II all of Springfield; grandchildren Britney Diller, Tyler and Jamie Dowler, Franklin Wilson II, Miracle Whalen, Autumn Cox and Kameron Cox; great-grandchildren Bryce, Kaila, Payton, Pablo, Karmalita, Alejandro, Ayla, Emanuel, Brianna, Jeremy II, Kayden and Jeaven; sister Connie Heater of KS; four nephews of KS Terry, Timmy, Jody and Darren and in laws Clarice Bailey, Tressie Hastings, Donald Cox, Bertha Cox and Gary (Karen) Cox. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister June Weese, nephews Johnny Rogers and Larry Weese and granddaughter Chelsea Dowler. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St, London. Interment will follow in Somerford Township Cemetery.
