DAVIS
Diana Lynn Davis, a beloved sister, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2025, in London, Ohio. Born on May 14, 1947, in Greenfield, Ohio to Harold and Rosalie, she was a also a sister to Delton and Dixie. Diana's life was a testament to the beauty and joy of resilience.
From an early age, Diana found solace in the great outdoors. She cherished moments spent under the sun where she could listen to her favorite music accompanied by the gentle melodies of wind chimes swaying in the breeze. She was sure to ring in every single day by sounding her chimes, especially every morning before day program and upon returning home. Her love for nature mirrored her vibrant spirit – always seeking light and warmth wherever she went.
Diana's heart was as expansive as her love for life. She shared a special bond with her Rescare staff; their laughter echoed through countless gatherings filled with stories that will forever be etched in their memories. The support from her staff shaped Diana into the compassionate soul she became – a woman who radiated kindness and positivity.
For many years at the Rescare group home where she lived with fellow housemates whom she adored deeply – Diana created an atmosphere of happiness that touched everyone around her. Whether it was coloring, engaging in crafts together, or enjoying outings like bowling trips that brought smiles all around – her upbeat attitude made every moment brighter.
The staff at Rescare were not just caregivers, but also family who witnessed firsthand how much love Diana had for those around her; they often remarked about how infectious her smile could be even during challenging times. It is this unwavering spirit that endeared Diana to so many people throughout her life.
Left to continue her vibrant legacy include her housemates/best friends Michelle, Ruth, Brenda, Amy, Sarah, Debbilyn, and Carla; special caregiver Megan; a host of friends from Matco; numerous support staff at ResCare London. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Dixie Lee Watts; brother Delton Frederick Watts; and a maternal aunt.

Though our hearts ache at this loss, we find comfort knowing that while she is no longer physically present among us – her legacy of joy will continue shining brightly within us all.
In honoring Diana's memory, let us carry forward the lessons learned from such a beautiful soul: embrace every moment with gratitude; spread kindness freely; cherish your loved ones fiercely; and always seek out sunshine – even when clouds gather overhead.
