Delorise "Sue" Williams, 81, of London, died Monday, November 28, 2022, in Doctors Hospital, Columbus.
Born April 24, 1941, in Columbus, she was a daughter of George and Helen Mae (Oyer) White, Sr.
A cook and waitress at the former Dixie Drive In, Sue attended the Gospel Tabernacle Church where she sang in the choir and helped clean the church. But her true passion was raising her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her children Myrna Lynn Whited, Rebecca Jean Mettmann, Vonda Kim Whited, Tonya Sue (Richard) Harris, David Jason Whited, Jonathon Michael Williams and Joshua Blake (Whitney) Whited; grandchildren Aaron McNeal, Jessica Whited, Sunshine Miss Lewis, Summer Cisco, Nicholas Mettmann, Emily, Xavier, Abigale and Savannah Whited, Caitlyn, Andrew, Bethanie, Addison, Jonathon, Gregory, Alleisha and Aleia; many great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers George White, Jr and Willard "Bill" James White, sister Evelyn Smith, and nephew James Ward White.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, December 1, 2022, in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Pastor Mary Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Paint Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 AM until time of services.
The family suggests memorials in Sue's name be made to The Madison County Humane Society, 2020 US Rt. 142 NE, West Jefferson, Ohio 43162.
