CRABBE
Deloris Jean "Dee" (Rinehart)(Pruitt) Crabbe, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully early Sunday May 4, 2025, at the age of 82, at home surrounded by the love of her family.
Dee was born July 29, 1942, in South Vienna, to James Francis Rinehart and Fannie Marie (Hanners) Rinehart. She worked for Univenture and Ranco in addition to the Dixie Drive In where she remained until retirement. Dee was a member of the American Legion Post #105 and Aerie #950, F.O.E. where she belonged to the Women's Auxiliary of both organizations. Family was paramount to Dee. Always serving as the matriarch, she worked hard to ensure their every need was taken care of and was truly the definition of what a perfect mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother should be. The endless love she showered onto her family will be carried on by the many generations she was blessed to care for.
She is survived by her daughter Brenda (Jack) Jones and son Ronnie (Carrie) Crabbe; grandchildren: Dawn (Bruce) Johnson, Jason Pruitt, Erica (John) White, Danielle Jones, Christina Jones, Heaven Crabbe, and Hannah Crabbe; several great-grandchildren; sisters Frances LeMaster, Jean (Dave) Sumtheimer, and Jane (Randy) Crace, brother Charles Rinehart; numerous nieces and nephews.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Sheryl Lynn Pruitt; grandson Malik Fitzgerald; brothers James "Bub" (Donna) Rinehart, Jr., Phillip (Jackie) Rinehart, Timothy Rinehart, and Tommy Rinehart; in-laws Ronnie LeMaster and Nancy Rinehart.
