WOOD David K. Wood, 68, of London died Sunday, November 16, 2014 in Marysville, Ohio. Born February 8, 1946 in Springfield, Ohio; he was the son of Lawrence "TIG" and Ruth (Brown) Wood. David had retired as a truck driver from Consolidated Freightways. During his 40 year career in the transportation industry he had the distinction of driving over 6 million miles without an accident. He was a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran and a former member of Teamsters Union Local 413. David was also a licensed driver and member of NHRA. David is survived by his sons: Kevin Wood of Mt Sterling, Tim (Cindy) Wood of London, Scott (Lana) Wood of Ostrander and Tod Wood of Florida; daughter Teresa Lindsay of Florida; grandchildren: Brandi, Nick, Adam, Lauren, Andrew, Tristan, Mara and Madison; 3 great-grandchildren and his sister, Susie of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mara "Marty" (Chase) Wood in 1999 and his brother Larry Wood in 1967. Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N.
