WELLS

David E. Wells, 92, of Mount Sterling, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021.

Born March 29, 1929, in Boyd County, Kentucky, he was the son of David and Viola Wells

David served in the Air Force and was a Korean War Vet.

He worked as an accountant for nearly 30 years at The Ohio State University before retiring.

David was preceded in death by his son Robert David Wells.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Aureta (Crabtree) Wells; children Marci (John) Darlington, Doug (Karen) Wells and Lori (Kory) Metcalf; grandchildren Eli Darlington, Todd (Kelly) Cordetti, Stacey (Seth) Fry, Max (Lena) Darlington, Emily Darlington (Ricky Critchfield), Aaron (Lauren) Wells, Eliza (Jay) McNelly, Emma Wells (fiancée Dominic Stacer), Nate Wells, Ashley ( Danielle) Kidwell & Nicole (Jacqui) Kidwell and many great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at Noon on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, in Ebenezer Cemetery, Vinton, Ohio.  A celebration of David's life will be held at a future date.

The family suggests memorials in David's name be made to Loving Care Hospice.
