MARTIN

David S. Martin, 61, of Galloway, died unexpectedly Saturday, March 1, 2025, in Riverside Methodist Hospital, following a brief illness.

Born January 5, 1964, in Columbus, Ohio, he was a son of Betty Marie (Blake) Martin. A 1982 graduate of London High School, David previously dedicated many years of work to Delphi-General Motors and prior to that he worked for Superior Tool and Die. He currently was employed at ODOT as a highway technician. His true passion could be found while out riding his motorcycle, there was truly no happier place! Additionally, David enjoyed playing darts and was an avid animal lover, especially for the many cats and birds he raised over the years.

David leaves behind his beloved wife of 31 years, Teresa L. (Reed) Martin; daughter Nicole (Michael) Bailey; grandchildren: Autumn, Jacob, Matthew, Christopher, Michael, Michelle, Jersey and Xavier; numerous great-grandchildren; sister Kristen (James) Myers, brother Douglas (Suzanne) Martin; several nieces and nephews; uncle Conrad Robert Blake; mother-in-law Joan Newman. He was preceded in death by his mother Ree Martin (Betty Blake).

Although his time was much too short, he will be lovingly remembered for his strong will, fierce love for others, and irreplaceable laughter.

A funeral service to honor David's memory will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140. Interment will follow in Somerford Township Cemetery. David's family will receive friends for visitation from 11 AM until time of services.
