EADES David G. Eades, 77, of London died Tuesday, June 5, 2018 in Columbus. Born November 19, 1940 in London; he was a son of Raymel and Lois (Loveless) Eades. The former Mayor of London from 1992-2015, Dave had also retired from General Motors in 1991. A US Navy Veteran, Dave was a member of the American Legion, Madison Memorial Post #105, the First United Methodist Church, the US Trotting Association, Ohio Mayor's Association and was a past president of the following London Kiwanis, Ohio Municipal League, Madison County Fish and Game and Madison County Harness Horseman's Association. Survivors include his children Greg (Barb) Eades, Marc Eades and Amber (Lawrence) Booghier all of London and Megan Eades of Columbus; grandchildren Britney, Kerri (Trint), Adam (Christian), Zach (Kirsten), Alexis, Sydney, Taylor and Brooklyn; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sue Eades, brother John Eades and sister Nancy Dillion. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Saturday in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Rath officiating. Interment follows in Paint Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 3-7 PM Friday.
