CARPENTER David Victor Carpenter, 59, of London, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018 in his residence. Born September 24, 1959 in Columbus; he was a son of William Victor and Lucille Mabel (Evans) Carpenter. A US Army veteran, David had also worked and retired from London Correctional Institution after 23 years. Survivors include his wife Betty (Cherry) Carpenter; sisters Sandy Thomas, Linda (Roy) Weethee and Diana "Sue" (Charles) Parker; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, brother James William Carpenter and sister Dixie Puckett. Private services will be held for the family and close friends.
