BOOTH
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of David Robert Booth, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026, in the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
Born August 5, 1969, in Milford Center, Ohio, David was a son of Donald Booth and Sara “Kitty” (Sanford) Phillips.
He dedicated many years of hard work as the manager of the Honda car repair lot in Marysville, where he was respected for his leadership and reliability. A proud member of the Conservation Club in Milford Center, he enjoyed spending time outdoors and especially loved fishing. Whether casting a line on a quiet morning or cheering on his favorite teams, the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Miami Dolphins, David found joy in life’s simple pleasures.
Above all, his grandchildren were his pride and joy. He cherished every moment spent with them, and his love for them was evident in everything he did.
Left to cherish his memory include his children Michael (Lynne) Booth, Heather Fitzpatrick, and Justin Seely; brother Curtis (Jackie) Booth and sisters Sheri (Chuck) Jacobs and Stacey Jacobs; grandchildren: Ryleigh, Casen, and Blaine Booth, Macy and Sara Sue Blair, Abigail Fitzpatrick, Adelyn, Dallas, and Ellen Seely; great-grandchildren Brock Thomas and Colton Blankenship; father Donald (Vickie) Booth; several nieces, nephews, and special friend Mindy Blake. David was preceded in death by his mother Sara “Kitty” Phillips.
A time to celebrate David’s life will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140. In tribute to his love for the Buckeyes, family and friends are encouraged to wear OSU apparel to the celebration.
Condolences for the Booth family are encouraged to be shared online at www.eberlefisherfuneralhome.com.
