BELL

David Ernest Bell, 83, of London, died Wednesday, January 3, 2024, in the Bluebird Retirement Community.

Born November 18, 1940, in Madison County, he was a son of David A. "Pat" Bell and Gertrude (Nicol) Bell.

Dave graduated from London High School and went on to become an electrician, working for the Superior Electric. He was a member of the IBEW Local 683, an avid OSU fan, and loved collecting and dealing with antiques. Dave was skilled in his work and was proud to have received a craftsman of the year award!

He leaves behind three sons: Rob Bell of TN, Ron (Kathy) Bell of NC, and Ric (Jana) Bell of London, OH; grandchildren Casey (Madison), Christopher, Kyle, Sharlene, Shayane, Francesca and Kaity; great-grandchildren Nolan, Nova and one on the way, nephews David and Daniel Garrison.

David was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife of 59 years Luella Jean Bell; sisters Judy Bell and Eileen Bell-Garrison.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, January 11, 2024, in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Pastor Dave Leckrone officiating. Private interment in Oak Hill Cemetery will be at the family's convenience. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-7 PM Wednesday and from 10 AM until time of services Thursday.
