ARTIS David Earl Artis, 56, of London, Ohio passed away in his home Sun. Sept. 4, 2016. David was born Sept. 24th, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio. He was the son of the late Earl A. and Carolyn (Howard) Artis. David worked construction and cement for many years. He loved to fish and loved playing with his dog Gage; but most of all he loved his grandchildren and spending time with them.David leaves to cherish his memory his partner of many years Chastity Payne, 8 children, Aja (Chad) Wilson-Prince, Adea Wilson, David Artis II, Andree Tyree, Charity Cain, Khyre Payne, Kaylee Payne, and Devon Payne; 15 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lisa (Paul) Lucas, Bunny (Harry) Lockwood; 4 brothers, Robert (Chris) Artis, Duane Cooper, Brian Artis, and Jason Artis; his beloved dog Gage; several Aunts, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents, Nelson and Osie Artis and John and Eva Howard. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at The Fountain of Truth Ministry, 135 Maple St., London.
