Daniel “Dano” Dwyer
Daniel “Dano” Dwyer, born on December 14, 1953, passed away on October 17, 2026, surrounded by his girls after a short battle with cancer.
Danny graduated from London High School in 1972. He spent many years working at Versa before eventually retiring from Stanley Electric in 2013.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Mary Dwyer, and his brother, Michael Dwyer.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Dwyer; his daughters, Sara Dwyer (Ben Mickle) and Kate (Stephen) Osborne; and his five beloved grandchildren, Kali, Anthoney, Layla, Maddox, and Nolan. He is also survived by his sisters, Sally Dwyer and Kathy McClaskie; his brother, Patrick Dwyer; his nieces, Anna and Bridget McClaskie; his great-nephew, Cole McClaskie (Renee); his great-niece, Gabby (Shelby) Cooper; and his great-great-nieces and nephew, Brentley, Berkley, and Brayli McClaskie.
Above all else, Danny loved his family. He adored his daughters and took immense pride and joy in being a grandfather. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and the love he had for them was immeasurable.
Danny was truly one of a kind. He enjoyed a cold beer, had a quick wit, and was fluent in sarcasm. He had a way of making people laugh, often when they least expected it, and his sense of humor was something those who knew him will never forget. Beneath his sarcasm and playful personality was a man who loved his family deeply and wholeheartedly.
Danny leaves behind a lifetime of memories, countless laughs, and a love that will continue to live on through his family. He will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140.
