Dan P. Nevitt, 75, of London, died Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Sisters on Elm, London.
Born January 16, 1945 in Peoria, IL; he was a son of Charles B. and Ellen J. (Jury) Newton.
A member of the Maranatha Baptist Church, Dan was also a US Army veteran of Vietnam. He retired from the US Post Office after 20 years and had also worked for Otis Elevator, Stanley Electric and Madison County Hospital, all in London.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Karen (Fleming) Nevitt; daughters Alicia (Chris) Ellis, Jennifer (David) Queen, Christine Ayers and Rebekah (Kevin) Donahue; grandchildren Victoria (Ellis) and Thomas Kisamore, Logan Queen, Grace Ayers, Lauryn Queen, Rebekah Ayers, Lanie Queen, Lucas Queen and Cora Donahue; brother Richard (Barb) Nevitt; aunts Merrielle Akright and Melba Jury and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and many relatives of the Jury and Nevitt Families.
Family and friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London from 12 Noon to 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 23, 2020. A private graveside service will be following at Kirkwood Cemetery, London. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on June 13, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Maranatha Baptist Church, 4663 Trabue Rd, Columbus, OH 43228.
If they wish, and in lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial contributions in Dan's name to the Maranatha Youth Program to support their mission's trip.
