Today, I raise my glass, bow my head…as a salute to the sick and twisted, the unique and humorous, Cyndi Siders... truly one of a kind friend who lived her life on her terms one day at a time. She possessed a one-of-a-kind integrity with a strong personal Constitution. The only treasure that she carried was in her heart. Her true friends were everything to her. She loved each and every one of us uniquely and in her own way. For this, we will all miss her and remember her in our own way. May her new journey be joined by our hearts and the joy she gave us all.

Cynthia Lorraine Siders, 62, of West Jefferson, died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

Born April 3, 1962, in Columbus, she was a daughter of Frank Ellis and Shirley (Chamberlain) Ellis.

Cyndi had worked as a night clerk for the Fairbridge Inn in West Jefferson. Always in touch with her creative side, Cyndi enjoyed making Diamond Art. She also was a collector of dollar bills containing star notes.

She leaves behind one daughter Mandy Ellis (James Lawhun); sister Karen Chamberlain; four nephews, two nieces; four-legged companion Sadie; several good friends including Angie Napper and Angie Damron.

Cyndi was preceded in death by her parents; son Kenny Siders; sisters Cathy Pranitch and Christina Roberts.

Cremation will take place in accordance with Cyndi's wishes. There will be no visitation or funeral services.
