DOWNING Constance "Connie" Downing, 78, of London died Saturday, February 21, 2015 in the Arbors at London. Born February 18, 1937 in Paint Township; she was a daughter of Harley Amos and Hazel Leona (Archer) King. Connie had worked at the Madison Press for 24 years before retiring. She was a devoted wife and mother who always loved and supported her husband, children and grandchildren. Survivors include her sons Robert L. (Cheryl) Downing of West Jefferson, David A. Downing of London and Kevin (Kim) Downing both of London, daughters Linda S. Giglio of London and Kathi J. (Mark) Frymier of Morrison, CO; grandchildren Ashley (Drew) Livengood, Brad Giglio (Ali), Kirsten Downing (Zach), Kory Downing, Rachel Frymier, Ben Frymier, Jacob Lowe and Jeremy Lowe; great grandson Tyler Lowe; brother Ted King of London, numerous nieces and nephews and sister in law Betty Jean Hoyt of West Jefferson. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert H. Downing on January 10, 2015. Also preceding her in death were brothers Garland S. King and Harley E. King, sisters Inez H. Holmes, Irene M. King, Helen V. Palmer, Jeannette Adams, Virginia Gearhart and Beulah M. Henry. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Thursday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London, OH with Pastor Jon Osmundson officiating. Interment will follow in Kirkwood Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-7 PM Wednesday.
