FERGUSON Con Ferguson was born at Flat Gap in Johnson County, KY; the son of Con Sr. and Ruth (Childers) Ferguson in 1926. He died Thursday, December 31, 2015 in London Health and Rehab. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Virginia M. (Hughes) Ferguson, his parents, brothers Carroll, Parnell and Alamander Ferguson and sisters Melissa Ferguson and Esta M. Fyffe. He is survived by sons Larry D. and Daniel Ferguson, grandson Jason Ferguson and great grandchildren Zack, Tiffany and Ashley Ferguson. He was a veteran of the US Army Air Corps serving in Trinidad in WWII. After his military service, he worked at the McCord Radiator Factory while attending night school. He later worked in the engineering department at International Harvester (now called Navistar) as an industrial engineer and retired from Lennox Industries in 1991. He was member of the Sedalia Church of Christ in Christian Union (CCCU), where before his health started failing he was a member of the choir and a soloist. His favorite hobby was fishing for walleye in Lake Erie. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016 in the Sedalia CCCU with Rev. Gordon Ell officiating. Interment will follow at Somerford Township Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY 103 N. Main St, London from 4-7 PM Wednesday.
