Clara Monabell DeLawder, 94, of Washington Court House, formerly of London, died Thursday, February 10, 2022, in St. Catherine's Manor, Washington Court House, Ohio.
Born February 6, 1928, in Champaign County, she was a daughter of George Ira and Clara Bell (Humble) Kline.
A member of the Newport Church of Christ in Christian Union, Clara had worked as a claims examiner for the State of Ohio.
Survivors include her children Larry Farmer of Washington Court House and Carol (Nicholas) Dawson of South Carolina; grandsons Joseph (Anne) Phillips and Benjamin Phillips; great-granddaughter Cadence Phillips, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lewis DeLawder, son Tommy DeLawder and seven siblings.
A graveside service will be held at 3 PM Saturday, February 12, 2022, in Kirkwood Cemetery, London, with Pastor Phil Conrad officiating.
A celebration of Clara's life is being planned for a later date.
The family suggests memorials in Clara's name be sent to Rose Avenue Community Center, c/o Heritage Church, 1867 US35NW, Washington Court House, OH 43160
