NAPPER Chester Lee "Captain" "Chad" Napper, 62, of London died at home with his family by his side on October 4, 2018. Born on September 6, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio; he was a son of Eddie and Clara (Herman) Napper.Chester attended Temple of Compassion in Columbus for 14 years, under Evangelist Patricia Turner. Chester retired from Armaly after 40 years and was also a referee for girls softball, boys baseball and boys football for 19 years. He was married to the love of his life Mary E. (McClendon) Napper for 39 years. He loved to cook and was a baker and loved a good book which is the Bible. He enjoyed yard work, fishing with family and friends. He loved his family and dog Ginger, and friends of the neighborhood he loved to tease along with special friend Ron Carlos. He is the father of three Cheston Lee A., Mary Lyn and Lelyn A.; grandfather of Derrick Wampler, Jazmine Rutherford, Shatayah Minor, Sienna Napper, Jerell Guisinger and Josiah Napper; great granddaughter Olivia Rutherford; brothers and sisters Gloria Fuller, Leota Hudson, Ivy Dolby, Lowrenal Banks, Maggie Patterson, Larry Napper, Becky Napper and Raymond Napper; a host of nieces and nephews. Chester was the 24th child in his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, numerous brothers and sisters and special aunt Florence Herman. Funeral services will be held at 9 AM Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018 in the Fountain of Truth Ministries, 135 Maple St., London. Interment follows in Washington Cemetery, WCH, Ohio.
