CAPLINGER Charles David Caplinger, 72, of South Solon, died April 25, 2013 in Eaglewood Care Center, Springfield. Born February 26, 1941 in Springfield, he was a son of Lawrence and Martha (Palmer) Caplinger. Charles had been employed as a truck driver with Kenosha Transport, Kenosha, Wisconsin. Survivors include his wife Janice (Aylward) Caplinger; son David (Susana) Caplinger of Mason, daughter Carin (Douglas) Iten of Belleair, FL, step daughters Michelle Simmons of Englewood; granddaughters Lauren Simmons, Brittany Simmons and Erica Alva; grandsons Davis Iten, Marc Iten and Andy Alva; brother Ronald (Susan) Caplinger of Braselton, GA and a niece. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Linda Combs. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Friday, May 3, 2013 in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 AM until time of services on Friday.
