Obituary

WILSON

Charles Bruce Wilson, age 84, of London, Ohio passed away on June 10, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Bruce, as he was known by friends and Papaw and GB as he was known by his Grandkids, found his greatest joy in farming with Allis-Chalmers tractors and Gleaner combines. He was a proud 1959 graduate of Northeastern High School. Bruce never met a stranger and could often be found eating lunch with his farming buddies at Burger King in London. He had a gentle soul, countless friends and a booming laugh that could fill a room. He loved listening to bluegrass music, watching TV shows like Seinfeld and Gunsmoke, and also cheering on the UD Flyers, and depending on the season, the Cincinnati Reds.

Though his family will miss him deeply every day, they find comfort in knowing he is at peace and is now reunited with his loved ones who have gone before him, including his parents, Raymond and Garnet Wilson, nephew Doug Wilson and especially his oldest son, Darren Wilson.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 63 years, Susan (Crabill) Wilson, brothers Tim and Dale Wilson, sons Craig (Barb) and Steve (Mindy) Wilson, daughter-in-law Kim Porter; grandchildren Hannah, Hayley, Shane, Luke and Tate Wilson plus friends and family too numerous to list but definitely not forgotten.

Friends, and strangers he would love to have met, can visit with Bruce’s family at Eberle Fisher Funeral Home and Crematory, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140, on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM with Pastor Jackson Moody officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, South Charleston.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bruce’s name may be sent to benefit the Phi Beta Psi Sorority, Iota Beta Chapter’s National Project for cancer research, c/o Treasurer Lynne France, 7706 Glanmore Court, Dublin, Ohio 43017.

Condolences for the Wilson family are encouraged to be shared online at www.eberlefisherfuneralhome.com.
