"Susie" (Reese) Brammer

BRAMMER
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mrs. Carolyn Sue "Susie" (Reese) Brammer, age 76, at her home in Plumwood. Carolyn passed peacefully on Sunday, May 4, 2025, in the arms of her loving husband.
Born November 29, 1948, in Washington Court House, Susie was a daughter of William Reese and Jessie (Schreckengaust) Reese. Starting her serving career at Bob Evans on Rome Hilliard and finishing at the Der Dutchman, Susie spent over 30 years in the service industry and was truly the BEST server you could ask for, ensuring that her patrons were always welcomed and treated like family. She loved pets and the color purple, as well as caring for babies and for seniors. Susie's heart was a fountain of love, which she poured out for everyone she came in contact with. She was the embodiment of compassion, and with the best sense of humor around, she was guaranteed to make you laugh even on the darkest of days. Known to her "sugar bear" Bernie as "my sweet little Susie," she will be fondly remembered for her genuine nature where she was free to be as silly as she desired, her unconditional positive outlook on any challenge, and especially for her demonstrable love for her family who were the true lights of her life.
Susie leaves behind her adoring husband of 30 years, Bernard Brammer; children Bernard "Butch" (Jackie) Brammer Jr., Julie (Kevin) Wilson, Anthony Stevens, and Shawna Carrothers; sister-in-law Eloise (Herb) McKinney; grandchildren: Aaron Meeker, Emily Richards, Kaleena (Brad) Payton, Karissa (JR) Stauffer, Kelsey (Zach) Callahan, Spencer Wilson, Christian (Jason) Frazier, and Nickolas Wilson; numerous great-grandchildren; sister Patsy McDaniel, brothers Ronald (Nancy) Reese and Terry Reese; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Tina Meeker; mother-in-law Olive Brammer; sister-in-law Ruth (Brammer) Taylor; niece Cindy McDaniel and nephew Earl McDaniel.
Susie's family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140. A funeral service will then commence at 7:00 PM with her brother Pastor Ronald Reese officiating. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
