SCHWEINSBERG Carolyn Elaine Schweinsberg, 72, previously of 1816 Ransberg Ave., Columbus, died Tuesday, April 2, 2013 in Mount Carmel Medical Center, Columbus. Born March 2, 1941 in Portsmouth, OH, she was a daughter of William R. and Mary L. (Floyd) Schweinsberg. She was a member of the 3rd Avenue United Methodist Church in Portsmouth, OH. Survivors are her brothers and sisters, Billie Jean (Gary) Hunter of London, William R. Schweinsberg, Jr. of Groveport, OH, Debra L. (Steve) Feustel of Galloway, and Timothy (Darla) Schweinsberg of Circleville; and aunt, Bessie (Elmer Lee) Schweinsberg. She was preceded in death by her parents, William R. and Mary; sister, Beverly Ann; nephew, Gary Lee Hunter, Jr.; and niece, Tiffany A. Conley. Carolyn was never married, but shared so much love for her numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. She never met a stranger. She had a passion to live life to the fullest and she loved people, conversation, bingo, eating, and church (especially singing "Amazing Grace".) She knew people at the Columbus West Park Nursing Home by their first name. She loved her dolls and stuffed animals and, in fact, slept with each one of them at night. They were her babies. She touched the heart of all who knew her and she will really be missed. Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St., London, OH, from 10:00AM to 11:00AM Saturday, May 18, 2013. Services will immediately follow at 11:00AM with Pastor Sue McClelland officiating. Interment will follow in Somerford Township Cemetery. Carolyn's family suggests that friends may, if they wish, donate a packaged toy to the funeral home in her memory.
