TRUMAN Carl "Dusty" Truman, 91 of London, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, February 23, 2015 in his residence. Born June 26, 1923 in Shelbyville, KY; to Roscoe Owen and Sarah Eliza (Jamison) Truman. Dusty retired from General Motors after 32 years of service, where he was a member of the UAW. He was a US Army Air Corp veteran of World War II and a member of the London Church of Christ. He loved to perform Christian music on his harmonica and guitar. Survivors include his wife of 73 years Thelma Lenore (Ackerman) Truman; children Carl (Gerry) Truman, Patty (Ray) Kuhns, Judi (Jack) Atwell, Beckie (Steve) Justice, Steven (Linda) Truman and Deb (Ben) Collier; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers and sisters. Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St, London from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday. A celebration of Dusty's life will be held at 11 AM Monday in the London Church of Christ, 5 Westmoor Dr., London with Pastors Wendell Hurley and Danny VanScoy officiating.
