WAUGH (COPELAND)

Candy Michelle Waugh, 46, of Plumwood, died Monday, March 23, 2026, in The Ohio State University Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born March 5, 1980, in London, Ohio; she was the daughter of Ernest and Linda (Maxhimer) Copeland.

Candy had worked as a nurse’s assistant and in her spare time, she loved to read and go fishing.

She is survived by her husband of 16 years Ronnie Waugh; daughter Samantha Waugh; step-son Cole (Renee) McClaskie and their children Brentley, Berkley and Brayli; her mother Linda Copeland and step-father Eddie Miller; brothers Ernest Copeland and Roy (Allison) Copeland and family; grandmother Grace Tatro; special niece/daughter Page Copeland Alfrey and her family; special nephew Jayce, Mimi’s Monkey and MaKenna, Rayleigh and Lilly; special cancer survivor/cousin Tracy Harford; several special cousins, aunt, uncles; longtime friend of 30 years Allisa Long and very close friend Vicki Tolbert; mother in law, Sharon Waugh; sisters in law Carla Waugh, Rhonda Long and Kerri Arbaugh; and several nieces and nephews.

Candy was preceded in death by her father Ernest Copeland; special aunt Jean Harford; grandparents Paul, Horace and Martha and several other family members.

Visitation will be held at THE EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London, from 4-7 PM Thursday, March 26, 2026.
