Ingles

INGLES
Brian Lee Ingles, age 60, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 11, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, quiet strength, and countless miles traveled – both on the road and in the hearts of those who knew him.
Born in Washington Court House on October 5, 1965, Brian found his calling early in life. At just 14 years old, he climbed into the cab of a truck and never looked back. For an impressive 45 years, he crisscrossed the country behind the wheel, not just delivering freight, but building friendships in every corner of America. Being an OTR trucker wasn't just his job – it was who he was. He loved the open road, the hum of a good engine, and the satisfaction of getting the job done right.
When he wasn't driving, he was often found under the hood, tinkering with trucks – both his own truck or often someone else's – always ready to lend a hand or share advice. His love for driving didn't stop at work: he was a lifelong fan of NASCAR with Bristol Motor Speedway being a favorite destination, a place where he felt most at home in the roar of the race and the camaraderie of fellow fans.
A Bengals supporter through every NFL season, he followed football with the same quiet loyalty that marked every part of his life. He didn't need to say much – his presence alone spoke volumes. He showed up, always. For work. For family. For Friends. Rain or shine, you could always count on Brian.
Though the road kept him moving, his heart always pulled him back to his roots, "Down Home" in Lawrence County. Those trips meant the world to him – time spent with family, old friends, and familiar hills that never changed.
More than anything, Brian loved people. He had a gift for connection, the kind that doesn't fade with distance or time. Whether he met you at a truck stop in Texas or a diner in Kentucky, chances are he remembered your name, your story, and made you feel like an old friend.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents George Richard Ingles and Mona Lou (Keaton) Ingles; beloved wife Olive Faye (Slone) Ingles; and sister Mary Ann Ingles.
Left to cherish his memory include his brother Bret (Becky) Ingles; nieces Tasha Ingles and Andrea Taylor; great-nephew Cynceire Bernard; dear friends Carol Copley and Jim Hare; numerous other cousins; and a wide circle of friends and fellow drivers who will miss his steady presence, his stories, and the way he made the world feel just a little smaller and more familiar.
A time of gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140.
In the words of those who knew him best: he was always there. Quiet. Steady. True. And now, he's taken his final road home. " Keep on truckin', until we meet again ."
