IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brad Lee
Kronk
July 7, 1972 – January 28, 2026
KRONK
Brad Lee Kronk, age 53, of South Charleston, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, as the result of an automotive accident. His sudden loss leaves a deep and lasting ache in the lives of all who knew and loved him.
Born in London, Ohio, on July 7, 1972, Brad was a son of Roger Kronk and Rheba (Miller) Smith. A proud veteran, he served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. His time in the service reflected the values he carried throughout his life – dedication, discipline, and a quiet strength that others could always rely on.
Following his time in the military, Brad continued his service as a corrections officer. In recent years, he graduated from Hobart Institute of Welding Technology and built a respected career as a welder with the Champion Company in Springfield, Ohio. Known for his strong work ethic and skill, he took pride in a job done right and was admired by coworkers for his reliability, honesty, and willingness to lend a hand.
Outside of work, Brad found his greatest peace in the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, and walking with his dogs in the country.
Above all, Brad will be remembered for his steady presence, kind heart, and the love he shared with those closest to him. His passing was far too soon, but his legacy lives on in the memories, stories and lives he touched.
Left to cherish his memory include his son Asa Kronk (Bre Hanscel); mother Rheba Smith; brother Rod (Ginger) Kronk; nephews Garrett and Miller Kronk. He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother Roger and Janet Kronk, and stepfather Dr. Richard Smith.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM with interment to immediately follow in Kirkwood Cemetery.
