JOHNSTON Bobby Johnston, 60 of Sedalia, died Friday, January 1, 2016 in the James Cancer Hospital. Born March 30, 1955 in Fayette County; he was a son of Gayle E. and Patricia Ann (Seaburn) Johnston. Bobby had worked at Stanley Electric for the past 30 years, was president of Sedalia Town Council, past Mayor of Sedalia, a former volunteer and treasurer of the Mt. Sterling EMS and was a former 4-H leader. Survivors include his children Tyler Ross Johnston and Jill Ann "Jillymac" Johnston; grandson Jasen Johnston; father Gayle Johnston, brothers Mark Johnston (Julie Evans) and Jeff (Debi) Johnston; nieces and nephews Jackie, Derek, Josh, Ashley, Wyatt, Serenity and DJ and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Patty Johnston, sister in law Beverly Johnston, uncle Tom Johnston and nephew Jeromy Swyers. Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London from 2-8 PM Thursday. A graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
