HARDY Billie "Bill" R. Hardy, 77, formerly of New Plymouth, died Friday, August 16, 2013 in Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. Born December 4, 1935 in Edsel, Kentucky; he was a son of Everett and Ila Hazel (Blevins) Hardy. Bill loved the outdoors, especially when he was bow hunting and fishing. A US Army veteran; Bill had retired as the plant superintendent from Capitol Manufacturing, working in Columbus and West Jefferson. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Nell (Carroll) Hardy; daughter Sheila (John) Gossard of London, son Billy Kevin (Rebecca) Hardy of Sunbury; grandchildren Justin Gossard, Ryan Hardy and Helen Hardy; brothers Todd (Linda) Hardy of Grayson, KY, Everett (Phyllis) Hardy, Jr. of Patriot, OH and Eddie Lee (Sue) Hardy of Knoxville, TN and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters Lucy Jolly and Cosetta Young and brother Ervin Hardy. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM Monday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AN DCREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio with Pastor John Burchett officiating.
