GREGG

Betty Louise (Smith) Gregg, 73, of London, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

Born in Mechanicsburg, Ohio on April 19, 1949, she was a daughter of Guy W. and Martha Cleo (Mossbarger) Smith.

A woman of strong faith and 50 plus year member of the London Church of the Nazarene. Betty was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and sweet friend to all who she crossed paths with. She had worked at the former Stumps, Rinks, and K-Mart Stores in London and babysat many children over the years.

She leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Lou (Gregg) and Jimmy Hollar; grandson, Jacob Hollar; sister, Nancy (Frank) Powell; sister-in-law, Linda Little; nieces and nephews, Marcy (Mike) Colley, Charles Powell (Jennifer), Holly Murry, David (Julie) Smith, Geri Smith, Dan Smith, Tony (Joelle) Gregg and Bobby Puckett; many great nieces, great nephews, cousins and loving friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 37 years, William "Bill" Ira Gregg, son, Will "Willy" Richard Gregg, brothers and sisters, Oliver "Smitty" Smith, Catherine "Katie" Jones and Jim Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, December 16, 2022, at the London Church of the Nazarene, 224 Elm Street, London, Ohio 43140 with Reverend Russ Fairbanks officiating. Interment will follow in Kirkwood Cemetery, 1600 US-42, London, Ohio 43140. Friends may call at the church from 12 noon -2 pm and 4-8 PM Thursday, December 15, 2022.
