WRIGHT
Betty Jo Wright, 87, formerly of London, died Wednesday, June 14, 2023, in Anthology of Mason.
Born December 7, 1935, in Muleshoe, TX; she was a daughter of Rolla and Lillie (Foust) Ireton.
Betty had been the assistant to the Director at the Ohio Peace Officer's Training Academy, was a faithful member of Lafayette United Methodist Church, belonged to the P.E.O. and was a very gifted artist.
Survivors include her daughter Rebecca Nix; grandchildren Bailey Nix, Brandy Rayborn, Nikki Wright, Chris Dunn and Donald Wright, Jr.; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews Carl Ireton, Kent Ireton, Jane Thompson, Mark Ireton, David Gregory, Robert Gregory, Frank Gregory Jr., Denzil Gregory and Michael Gregory; sister-in-law Joanne Ireton.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald L. Wright; son Theodore "Ted" Wright; siblings Elva Gregory, Frank Ireton and Chuck Ireton.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, June 22, 2023, in the Lafayette United Methodist Church, 1615 Cumberland Street, SE, London, with Pastor Wayne Stuntz officiating. Friends may call at the church from 1:00-3:00 pm.
