FARQUHAR Betty (Coberly) Farquhar, 99 of Ft. Myers, FL, died Friday, February 21, 2014 in Florida. Born January 19, 1915 in Springfield, Ohio; she was a daughter of John K. and Mary E. (Routzahn) Coberly. Betty had been a piano teacher and was the former organist at the First Presbyterian Church of London. Besides belonging to the Presbyterian Church in London, as well as in Ft. Myers; she was also an honorary member of the Ft. Myers Rotary Club. A past president of the Women's Federation Club, she was also a member of the East High Street Club, both in London and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. Survivors include her daughters Mary (Lloyd) Litzenberg of Ft. Myers, FL, Susan (Donald) Miller of London and Linda (Max) Phillips of N. Ft. Myers, FL, son Donald C. Farquhar of N. Ft. Myers, Fl; grandchildren Tricia Farrell of London, Bradley Miller of Mechanicsburg, Donald Cl. Farquhar, II of Lehigh Acres, Fl, Shane Litzenberg of Virginia Beach, VA, Amanda Knieriemen of Cape Coral, FL, Ashley Farquhar, Jonathon Farquhar, Kyle Farquhar all of N. Ft. Myers, FL, Kimberly Hargrove, Kiley Newsome both of Cape Coral, FL, Mary Brohard of Cape Coral, FL and Craig Nichol of Marysville; 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald S. Farquhar and daughter in law Marcia (Brohard) Farquhar. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday in the First Presbyterian Church of London with Reverend Gordon Johnson officiating, Interment will follow in Kirkwood Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services. If they wish, friends may make memorial contributions to the Organ Fund at the First Presbyterian Church of London.
