McLARKEY Barbara McLarkey, born October 29, 1930 passed to her eternal rest and met her maker on June 16, 2017.She had lived in Columbus and Madison Lake, London, Ohio and was currently a resident of the Springfield Masonic Community. Predeceased by her parents Roy D. and Doris Jane (Vining) Johnston. Attended Central High School, Class of 1948, was employed in the Food Service Industry and retired from the Columbus City Schools, Food Service after a heart attack in 1989. Initiated in the Order of the Eastern Star, Robert Morris Chapter, #372, OES, on June 16, 1981, becoming a member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, Thea Court #5 and currently a member of London Chapter #386, OES. Survived by daughters Pamela Johnston and Diana (Kevin) Fowler, son Roy N. McLarkey; grandchildren Rhonda (Jordan) Campbell, Kaitlin Fowler, Laura Varney and Kate McLarkey; several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband Nelson McLarkey in 2012, sisters Mary Lou Johnston, Marinda Jane Johnston, Nancy (Ken) Kuehner and daughter in law Tami McLarkey. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Saturday, June 24, 2017 in the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 222 Schoolhouse Lane, Columbus with Rev. Douglas Browne officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Georgesville. Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N.
